Look, here’s the thing y’all. Free online dating sites are free for all. It’s easy to get on such a site and start sending unsolicited cock pics and say things like: Shit, that site gave me a good number of disposable poon. Sure, it’s an ugly thought, but, hey, that’s why I was there. I’m not alone, people! Even on OkCupid, the standard-bearer of all free online dating sites, women can’t get away from the fact that there are dudes that want one night stands; as evidenced when I peruse the countless profiles with that disclaimer at the end about not wanting one-night nookie.
That’s what free online dating means. One night bang sessions. I know, the truth hurts. The guy that doesn’t want a one night stand exists on free online dating sites and often looks like his face got caught in a bear trap or has the personality of an empty plastic cup of iced coffee that’s been sitting out in a gutter for a month. You don’t WANT the kind of guy that doesn’t want one night stand bootie.

Last updated At any given time, there is no shortage of trend pieces to make us single women sweat. All I can think about when I see those headlines, though, is that dating was never alive for me in the first place. I struggled to make friends in person, but platonic relationships formed quickly and easily through LiveJournal communities and AOL Instant messenger chat rooms. My success with making friends online does not translate to finding a romantic relationship online with the same ease.
In the beginning, I wondered why it was impossible to find someone who was looking for more than a casual quickie. Like many women, I asked myself, Am I too ugly? Or maybe I am just too weird? But the viral OKCupid blog post about messaging and race confirmed a nagging fear:
I have to say that today I got a bit creeped out by one particular individual. This guy messaged me a several times. The first time he messaged me saying that he he’s interested in me and that he just moved out here to California from Utah and that even if things don’t work out between him and me that he’s still interested in friendship and someone to hang out with.
Online dating is a fantastic way to meet people of all sorts, and I highly recommend it to my friends and clients. But it’s not a panacea that will fix all of your problems, and you’re still going to meet some weirdos out there like you do anywhere.
Share this article Share Now Marie, from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, wants to warn other women not to be tempted as she was to join the site – which she said was called No Strings Affairs – or one like it. The store assistant, whose children are aged 20, 16, and six, said: The mother-of-three said that joining the site ‘ruined her life’ after she fell for Ashley pictured with Marie who the unceremoniously left her ‘I felt it would be wrong to join a website where most people are looking for long-term love.
So the affairs site seemed the perfect solution. I believed the people I met would be honest as I am. I thought I would meet someone like me — newly out of a relationship who just wanted some company and some laughs. How wrong I was. So when Ashley contacted me and seemed really chatty I was simply relieved to have met a man who seemed normal.
He had two children and he and his wife remained together for their sake. He made it sound as if they were very young but in fact I later discovered they were in their twenties. But he was a good listener and it was lovely to have someone to talk to. I confided in him about how my ex and I had grown apart while he told me how he and his wife lived like brother and sister. We would talk for hours on end.

Culture Rapes tied to online dating on the rise Attackers put victims at ease by establishing a relationship online before meeting, according to a new report from the UK. Depending on who you ask, online dating is either a wonderful tool for meeting singles, or it’s a horrible hell hole of weirdos who are trying to spam honest ladies looking for love. Even if you haven’t given it a go on Match, eHarmony, or OK Cupid, you probably know someone who has.
Safety and security is non existent. If you are not familiar with the way modern websites work now a days basically a website is broken down into sub sections typically called modules. Then those modules are assigned to a something with an id signature. This is where the flaw comes into play if you can find a way to jumble up the id of your module, or someone elses, then you can gain access to their profile and access all of their messages, then edit anything on their profile, and just pray that your credit card information is secure.
When i found this flaw i messaged match about it because i was one of the people effected by this. What does match do? Did they thank me for finding this and notifying them? Instead of Match doing anything about it they just suggested that i reset my password, which would be fine if that module actually linked to my profile instead he now has all of my credit card information, he has the abilty to pose as me to other members and match does not do anything about this.
I have sense canceled my credit card and posted a fraud alert on it, but Match is not doing anything about this, and if you use this website you can become a victim like i did, i even submited physical evidence of how this is happening and match still wants to allow the loop hole to persist.
